++Thomas looked at the old man as he sat at the roadside looking desolate. He was all for Random Acts of Kindness - as he was strong and healthy, he offered to carry the man on his back.
The old man was quick to accept but, it transpired that he was not as weak as he appeared. Not at all. He beat Thomas badly until he gave up, did his bidding...it was then that he realised he'd been transformed into an actual donkey...
It's said though, that if you look close enough, every so often you can see Thomas in his human form, reaching out in desperation to anyone for help to be freed from his version of hell.++

This is definitely not one of my best photo manips. Shadows slay me. I just cannot get the hang of them at all.
Maybe I'll work it out and fix it at another stage...
